Rock Climbing at Batu Caves - Nyamuk Wall

Nyamuk means “Mosquito” in Malay, situated in Batu Caves between Damai Wall and Nanyang Wall, 20mins drive from city center of Kuala Lumpur. Nyamuk Wall has the most hardest and longest route among others wall in Batu Caves with total of 50 routes. There are some breathtaking 7A to 8a routes for your fear and physical challenge. One of the MUST climb spots.

No of Routes: Approximately 50 with multi-pitch
Length of Route: 15m to 40m, mostly below 33m
No of Bolts: 5 to 15, mostly less than 13

Getting there:
The easiest and fastest way is to take taxi to address above and stop at the junction of street TIB 3/3.  Park your car at road side at own risk and walk into kampong(village) houses (refer photo here), turn left once reached the end of the path, walk pass some houses, the crag and entrance trail can be seen from here.Remember to bring street map, mosquito coil or insect repellent is a MUST.

Accommodations: Budget hotels are available near the main road of Batu Caves, approximately 15mins walking distance to the Nyamuk climbing crags and there is a hyper market near the hotel for your shopping convenience, However you might also choose to stays at the city of Kuala Lumpur for more choice of activities and experinces,takes 20mins drive to Batu Caves by taxi.

Shop/Stores: Not available at the climbing area, have to trek down and drive out to the shops at the main road.
