Rock Climbing at Batu Caves - Damai Wall

Damai Wall situated north of Batu Caves, 20mins drive from city center of Kuala Lumpur. Damai Wall is the most popular climbing spot in the region.The routes are mostly vertical and therefore the haven for new climbers aspiring to their first experience of climbing natural rock. Multi-pitch climbing is popular here as routes are bolted up to the top in 4pitches, graded from intermediate to expert for selection.This wall will be packed during weekend at times with some climbing,abseiling group events, guides and trainings.

Getting there:
The easiest and fastest way is to take taxi to the above nearest address, once you are in the village, drive carefully and slow in the village as narrow road and children around. Then look for the Mosque and the crag can be seen in front of the mosque. Remember to bring street map along.

Accommodations: Budget hotels are available near the main road of Batu Caves, approximately 5mins walking distance to the first climbing crags Nanyang Wall and there is a hyper market near the hotel for your shopping convenience, However you might also choose to stays at the city of Kuala Lumpur for more choice of activities and experinces,takes 20mins drive to Batu Caves by taxi.

Facilities
Car-park: Proper parking bay is just in front of the crag.
Rain Shelter: Available in front of the climbing crag
Washroom: Toilet is available with only water, closed at times.
Shop/Stores: There are some house-store open near by the mosque, otherwise have to drive out to the shops at the main road.
